Mommy Julie and Daddy Roger are roaming to and fro upon the earth this spring. They just returned from Istanbul, where they taught a marriage conference to the North Africa, Middle East, and “Stan” country national directors of CCC. These men and women are laying their lives down every day to help others. They’ve been arrested, beaten, bombed, and threatened. God is still working wonderful miracles in all of these countries. They need our prayers for courage, protection, and encouragement. Mommy and Daddy B will be needing your prayers as well. In January, we return to Turkey and to “another unnamed country” to work with CCC.
We also have Intimate Life Ministries’ pastor’s conferences in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Nebraska during the spring. We’ll return to the Middle East shortly after Easter. And most importantly, we’ll be serving at Casas Church-our home base and support system-Sunday to Sunday. We would appreciate your prayers for strength, safety, wisdom, health and boldness in these next few months. A little stamina wouldn’t hurt either!
As always, our wonderful parents, Helen, Ralph and Wanda, need your prayers for health and continued strength to serve Jesus. Brianna and her sweet husband Derrek are still working with Dr. Charles Swindoll in Frisco, Texas. Brie is a creative writer at Insight for Living, and Derrek is outreach pastor in sports ministry at Stonebriar Community Church.
Brianna has had some serious lung problems this fall, but is recuperating well. Please continue to pray that she will regain her lung capacity. Bronwyn, our youngest daughter, is working in technical support for Insight for Living, and Richard, her spunky spouse is studying paramedicine. Both of them serve on their worship team at Genesis Metro Church. All of our children are in school and working right now. Brie and Derrek are finishing at Dallas Theological Seminary. Bronwyn is obtaining all of her network certifications, and Richard is doing emergency medical clinicals. We are so proud and grateful to have such precious children.
We also feel honored that God has given us such a wonderful place to pastor these last thirty years! Here are some of the next generations pastors on our staff that have grown up in Casas. They are our “children in the faith.”
